Hello, my name is Will and I am a United States citizen living in Medellin, Colombia. If someone would have told me ten years ago, I would visit, let alone live in Colombia, I would have told them they were crazy. In my mind Colombia was distant, wild and dangerous. In those days Colombia was known for many things and most of them were not good. Fast forward ten years. I have now lived in Medellin for two years, and could not be happier. I have learned quite a lot about Medellin and much more about myself. I have had many experiences, both good and bad. I have had some of the best adventures of my life here in Colombia. I will try to use this site to give you insights into the real Colombia. Not what you read about in the papers and certainly nothing like what you see on TV or in the Movies. I will discuss everything from apartment hunting to dating Colombian women. I will share many personal photos and videos so that you may have a real understanding of Medellin Life. We will also take some detours along the way. I think writing for this site will be fun and I hope you enjoy it too.
